Taylor m. Sheppard
Hi, y'all!
Taylor Sheppard (she/her) is a fiery, passionate, and driven person who gives her 100% in everything she does. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she and her family moved around quite a bit while her dad served in US Army. After he retired in 2006 after 21 years, her and her family packed up their life in Ft. Riley, Kansas and moved to Newnan, Georgia, a place she calls her home.
Taylor, who is named after her mom's favorite character from the soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, has always had a flair for the dramatic. Having danced from the time she was 3, her parents always knew she would be a performer. She found her love for musical theatre around 14 years old and has never looked back. She is so thankful to her wonderful and loving parents who have always encouraged and pushed her to follow her dreams.
Taylor is a Senior BFA musical theatre major at Shenandoah Conservatory (Class of 2023). Taylor also very passionate about diversity and inclusion in the theatre industry and currently serves as Vice President of the Shenandoah Conservatory's Musical Theatre Diversity Recruitment Team. The teams goal is to work with high schools with majority POC student population and help them prepare for college auditions.
When Taylor isn't performing, you can find her reading, enjoying a fun, game night with her friend, listening to the newest episode of one of her favorite podcasts, "You Must Remember This", or rewatching one of her favorite comfort series, New Girl or Julie and the Phantoms.
